Updated: Apr 16

Introducing my luxurious face massage oil, formulated with a blend of premium natural ingredients, including Jojoba Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Rosehip Oil, Frankincense Essential Oil, Geranium Essential Oil, Rose Essential Oil, Sandalwood Essential Oil, Jasmine Essential Oil, and Helichrysum Essential Oil.

If you don’t already incorporate face yoga into your daily skincare routine, you should! Much like we have to exercise for a healthy body, so too should we exercise our faces for younger and firmer-looking skin.

Face yoga, also known as facial yoga, is a natural way to enhance the health and appearance of your face. It involves performing various exercises and techniques targeting the muscles and skin of your face, neck, and head. Face yoga is beneficial for several reasons. Firstly, it helps increase blood circulation, improving your skin's health and overall appearance. Secondly, it can reduce tension and stress in your facial muscles, leading to a more relaxed and youthful appearance. Thirdly, it can help to tone and strengthen your facial muscles, which can help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Finally, face yoga is a non-invasive and affordable alternative to cosmetic procedures, making it an accessible option for those who want to improve their facial appearance naturally. Overall, incorporating face yoga into your daily routine can have numerous benefits for your skin and facial muscles, leading to a more radiant and youthful appearance.

Another trend is Gua Sha, a traditional Chinese healing technique that uses a flat tool to scrape the skin to improve circulation, alleviate pain, and release tension. The name "Gua Sha" roughly translates to "scraping sand," which refers to the appearance of small red spots that may appear on the skin after the treatment (which gives me pause to recommend this treatment for your face). In its original form, it uses a blade to scrape the skin to remove toxicity and has now evolved into using a stone for the face. The technique is often used on the back, neck, and shoulders but can also be used on other areas of the body. In addition to its therapeutic benefits, Gua Sha is also used in beauty treatments to improve the appearance of the skin and reduce wrinkles. While the practice has been used for thousands of years, it has recently gained popularity as a natural and non-invasive alternative to more invasive treatments. Please ensure that you test that the Gua Sha stone you are buying has no abrasive edges. Only buy from reputable stores. I still recommend face yoga using your fingers. However, if you love a trend, maybe consider a facial roller.

Facial rollers have gained popularity as a beauty tool that can help promote healthy skin. These handheld devices typically feature a smooth stone or crystal that is rolled over the skin in a specific pattern. The benefits of using a facial roller include promoting lymphatic drainage, reducing puffiness, and increasing circulation to the skin. This can result in a brighter, more toned complexion and can also help reduce fine lines and wrinkles over time. Additionally, using a facial roller can provide a relaxing, spa-like experience that can help reduce stress and tension in the face and neck. Overall, incorporating a facial roller into your skincare routine can be a simple and effective way to enhance the health and appearance of your skin.

We all love a trend but just be careful with Gua Sha and Facial Rollers. The skin on our faces is very sensitive, and we can get a little too rough in our mission to iron out those wrinkles. This can cause more harm than good. So, apply pressure very lightly if you use a Gua Sha stone, Facial Roller, or your fingers (I prefer the latter). Apply pressure as you would on a baby’s skin; otherwise, you can end up breaking your skin, and we don’t want that.

There are loads of face yoga videos on YouTube for you to follow. I will be uploading some exercises soon. Subscribe and turn on notifications to stay tuned!

So whether you want to spend extra money on a Gua Sha stone or a Facial Roller or are happy to trust your fingers and do Face Yoga, the key is to apply moisture to your skin to protect your skin. Also, the lymphatic drainage that occurs can cause pimples when you start out, as it is promoting detoxification. Hence why I created my Yummy Youth Face Massage Oil. Here is a deeper dive into the ingredients.
