01 HONEY & LAVENDER WOUND SALVE by Tash (yes me!)
So a lot of my friends are still unsure of what I do and that used to worry me, but now it makes me happy AF because it shows that I'm doing something completely different and that is a life goal. In addition to my personal shopping and styling sides of my business, I also do beauty. This includes facials that are combined with tutorials. I believe that a facial should be relaxing but also informative and I want people to walk away with new knowledge that they otherwise wouldn't get from their normal beauticians. My facials are different because they are all-natural products that I whip up at home and also teach you how to make the products by emailing a post-treatment shopping list, morning & night regime, ingredients and how to make all the products and a refresher of the benefits that I would have talked you through during the facial. I liken my facials to a catch up with a good (also hilariously funny) friend who is also making you look and feel great at the same time. Currently, I offer an anti-ageing ayurvedic facial, but I'll be adding more to the menu soon!
I also offer beauty consultations where I come to your home and discuss your skincare concerns and go away and compile a unique skincare routine (morning & night). I am not loyal to ANY brands, even my own and will give you options of what I think is best.
For that last year, I have been mixing my own products and testing them as I want to create a niche range that is 100% natural and effective and...drum roll...here is the first one.
This homemade (with all my love) wound salve is perfect for the whole family and has no added shit. It is simply made from honey, beeswax, olive oil and a few drops of Lavender essential oil BUT I'm going to go through why this is life-changing.
Benefits >>
Honey >
Honey has been used for longer than you can imagine healing wounds. Nurses still use it to this day in fact. Honey is naturally antibacterial, so kills any infections and has a very unique pH balance that encourages the blood to release oxygen, a very important action required for healing. Honey also has an osmotic effect, which means it draws water out of damaged tissues and thus reduces swelling.
Honey has a wide range of healing properties and hence why it will feature in some of my products going forward.
But more importantly, the honey used in my new range of wound salves is literally from a beehive in the home that I am staying in. You cannot get more natural than that, I assure you. Also straight from the beehive is...
Beeswax >
A great gift from nature to heal wounds with its natural anti-inflammatory properties. It is also high in Vitamin A which supports cell reconstruction and health. Unlike Vaseline, which forms a protective barrier between your skin and the environment, beeswax doesn't clog your pores.
Olive oil >
This little gem helps speed up the healing process as it is high in omega 3 fatty acids and helps reduce inflammation.
Lavender essential oil >
Lavender essential oil has amazing antiseptic properties and when applied to a wound increases cell growth that helps the wound to heal faster. It also helps with the appearance of scars. With its antimicrobial properties, it protects wounds from infection.
So you'll see why this is just the best to get for your family! So many of my friends have kids and this is why I've launched this product first and it's a way to heal your precious little ones (and yourselves) in an all-natural way. Health without cruelty.

02 RENEWING NIGHT CONDITIONER by Dr. Hauschka
I LOVE Dr. Hauschka, my friend Alta gave me a sample box of treats for my birthday when we were living in London, it changed my skin in ways I never knew possible and it is my absolute best brand ever. Why I love the products is because they work! Price-wise, I would say mid to high, but definitely worth it. I worked with such a lovely girl, Helen, who said that you can't put a price on skincare and in reference to this brand, I agree (it's not that expensive by the way).
So this little box of 28 ampoules are a once in a year investment and I cannot recommend them more. No matter what your skin condition is, this 28-day programme will set your skin right. Each ampoule replaces your night cream with a powerful oil-free treatment formulated with rhthymitised dilutions (from what I understand, this is adding more solvent to the concentrated solution of each ingredient in a rhthymitised fashion which isn't harsh enough to lose their natural effects) of an amalgamation of natural products, allowing your skin to complete its natural regeneration processes while you sleep.

03 FEAR written by Thich Nhat Hanh
I first came across this author when I was 16 and read, 'Living Buddha, Living Christ', which was about the similarities between Christ and Buddha and how the two could live in the hearts of those who chose, harmoniously. That way of openness and acceptance has helped me throughout my life to find happiness in my own beliefs.
I first read this book, 'Fear' a couple of years ago whilst listening to La Traviata in 2015. It changed my life and have read it a couple more times since then. This book is for everyone, the religious, the spiritual, the atheists and for all the amazing different people out there. He is the optimity of kindness and beauty and his words will heal and resonate with everyone in some way or another.
If you're having a tough time, even if you're not, he will talk honestly and through his own experiences to give you tools to work through life and survive.
